The profile we use combines strength, thermal performance and low maintenance which when coupled with the low level like coloured gaskets make the perfect choice both aesthetically and economically.

70mm REHAU S706 System

The S706 system offers much more than just superb aesthetics, but also boasts exceptional durability and performance. All together it will brighten any home providing trouble free installations and stunningly detailed finishes.

The S706 is the original chamfered system, with the option of a sculptured casement “T” sash and sculptured bead. With its full range of window and door styles available offering pivot and fully reversible window options, this versatile system has become a firm favourite in both domestic and specifier markets.

REHAU’s single leg glazing beads and retention detail has been proven to ensure that on-site glazing is easy and more importantly secure once fitted. An improved drainage path is designed to allow water to drain more efficiently, for a higher performance. The REHAU profile we use is renowned for its quality, which is shown in its high gloss finish, providing lost lasting appearance and reduced maintenance.

If required, the profile can be fixed into the steel reinforcement on both sash and frame. This not only allows for an improved technical performance but also a superior level of security. All of our 70mm systems have three chamber profiles for improved thermal performance. The S706 system comes complete with low threshold options, complying with Building Regulations.

Aluminium Window Options

All of our aluminium windows are available in a wide range of styles and designs including top, side and bottom hung. Windows can be made to project in or out and to suit a wide variety of applications. A vast array of available hardware allows the windows to be fully customised in terms of security, weather and functionality.

Our aluminium systems are designed with the consumer in mind with flat, chamfered or ovolo details offered we can match, or replace, existing fixtures whilst easily achieving traditional or contemporary appearance. Also with our unique polyamide thermal break design our windows not only look great, but achieve a higher thermal performance than competitors.

Energy Rated Windows

Housing is one of the major sources of energy use, and one of the main areas of energy loss is via the glazing. Windows are in place for a long time and efficiency gains achieved by fitting high performance windows are effective for the life of the product. By increasing the energy efficiency of glazed areas this will significantly reduce fuel bills, improve comfort and reduce greenhouse gas emissions for the life of the window installation.

What is the Window Energy Rating

The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) is an independent, government-backed initiative set up to enhance the energy performance of buildings. BFRC in conjunction with the U.K. glazing industry and European partners has developed a Window Energy Rating to assess the energy performance of domestic windows. For consumer purposes, the BFRC Rating value is converted on a A to G scale, which is known to the public from electrical products such as fridges and washing machines.

Building Regulations

The BFRC Rating or windows is now included in the Building Regulation Part L with effect from April 2006. Beside the existing target U-Values for replacement windows, compliance to Part L can be shown using certain Window Energy Ratings. The standard for replacement windows in an existing dwelling should be an energy rating of ‘E’ or better with the standard for new windows in extensions being a ‘D’ rating or better. For new dwellings the compliance with Part L is proven via a Target CO2 Emission Rate, which needs to be met, without specific BFRC requirements for the windows.

PVCu REHAU 60mm System
The REHAU Tritec system we use is kitemarked to BS7412 has received approval from the BBA and has been type tested to BS7950. REHAU’s quality control system is registered under BS EN ISO 9002. Furthermore the system complies with all relevant Building Regulations including Part L (England & Wales) regarding Conservation of Fuel & Power.

REHAU PVCu is classified as high impact resistant when tested in accordance with BS7413. The PVCu is difficult to ignite and will self extinguish when the source of heat is removed and is resistant to atmospheric pollution and a range of acids and alkalis.

Aluminium System
Our aluminium system is kitemarked to BS7950 and BS4873 has achieved approval from “Secured by Design” and complies with Document L when used with the correct glazing. It has a 58mm or 70mm frame depth to accommodate varying type of applications, including 24mm - 4mm sealed units for improved thermal and acoustic performance.

The system is available with A-G energy ratings where required based on varying glass options and utilises a unique Polyamide thermal break design to further improve thermal performance.
